After two months, Umphrey’s McGee and moe. wrapped up their moe.mentUM Tour on Saturday at Ravinia Festival in the Chicagoland area. The concert and tour ended in collaborative fashion, with both bands teaming up to perform a medley of moe. original “Rebubula” and the Paul Simon classic “You Can Call Me Al.”

moe. kicked off the night with a 75-minute set. The band — guitarists Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey, bassist Rob Derhak, keyboardist Nate Wilson, drummer Vinnie Amico and percussionist Jim Loughlin — followed the “Crab Eyes” opener with a well-jammed “meat.” that encompassed “Mar De Ma.”

Circle Of Giants, the band’s 2025 studio album, was represented by “Giants” and “Ups And Downs,” which were split by oldies “The Road” and “Opium.” moe. punctuated the set with a cover of the Allman Brothers classic instrumental “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed.”

Umphrey’s McGee took the stage next for what was lighting designer Ben Factor’s last show behind the board. The quintet — guitarist Brendan Bayliss, keyboardist Joel Cummins, bassist Ryan Stasik, percussionist Andy Farag and drummer Scotty Zwang — used the instrumental “You Got The Wrong Guy” opener to lead into an “All In Time” they wouldn’t finish until the end of the set.

The first half of “All In Time” bled into “Nemo,” which gave way to a 15-minute “Wappy Sprayberry.” UM concluded the seamless show-opening sequence with “Out Of Focus” before serving up a standalone “Staircase.” A one-two punch of “Bridgeless” and “Small Strides” then prefaced a performance of the beloved “Hajimemashite,” which was followed by the end of “All In Time.”

Brendan Bayliss wished Rob Derhak an early birthday when moe. and UM returned to the stage. “A few years when I was in college, just a couple of years ago, if you would’ve told me that we’d be playing this song with these guys I’d [gestures upwards]. I want to thank them for a fantastic tour, we’ve got to do it again some time,” Bayliss added.

Al Schnier then announced moe. will be performing tonight (Monday, August 17) at Garcia’s Chicago under their “Monkeys On Ecstasy” moniker. The members of both bands, except for UM’s rhythm section, then launched into “Rebubula.” Bayliss handled lead vocals on the second verse of the moe. staple, which Umphrey’s used to cover frequently in 1998 and 1999.

Ryan Stasik swapped in on bass for Rob Derhak while Scotty Zwang took Vinnie Amico’s place behind the drum kit as the “Rebubula” jam was about to begin. The two groups swerved into Paul Simon’s 1986 hit “You Can Call Me Al.”

Zwang sang the Graceland favorite as he did for UM’s only other performance of the song on February 7, 2026 in Port Chester, New York. The drummer shouted out Al Schnier before the moe. guitarist took vocal duties for a verse and chorus. Nate Wilson played flute for the duration of “You Can Call Me Al.”

The Paul Simon cover ended with a drum duet featuring Zwang behind the kit along with Amico, Loughlin and Farag on percussion. Amico and Derhak then swapped in for Zwang and Stasik, respectively, to pick up “Rebubula” where it was left off. Bayliss and Garvey traded licks to bring the song and tour to an end.
