Neil Young Sets Return To The Stage For Run With Willie Nelson
The music icons and their bands will team up for performances in the Northeast ahead of Farm Aid 2026.

Neil Young's first full show of 2026 will come earlier than previously expected. Young & The Chrome Hearts will team up with Willie Nelson & Family for a run of co-headlining concerts leading up to their appearances at Farm Aid 2026.
Two double bills have been announced as of press time. Wille Nelson & Family and Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts will play Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 22. The music icons and their bands will then head to Philadelphia for a concert at TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann on September 24. Ty Myers will open both shows.
Both groups will aso perform at Farm Aid 2026 On September 26 at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Nelson, Young and fellow Farm Aid board members John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews (& Tim Reynolds), Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff top the bill.
Additional performers include Turnpike Troubadours, Lukas Nelson, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Jesse Welles, Sierra Ferrell, Mon Rovîa, I’m With Her, Amythyst Kiah, Lily Meola and Chris Pierce.
Young and The Chrome Hearts were supposed to tour Europe this summer, but cancelled the outing back in February, with Neil citing the need to “take a break.” A surprise acoustic set at a benefit concert in May has been Young’s only live appearance since his Painted Turtle benefit show last October. Young and his band will release a new album entitled Second Song on September 18.
Tickets for both Neil Young & Willie Nelson shows go on Friday, August 21 at 10 a.m. ET.
