Lana Del Rey was the headliner on Friday at Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The guest-loaded set concluded with Jelly Roll coming out to join Lana Del Rey on a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s classic “Sweet Home Alabama.”
Del Rey began her performance with the live debut of a truncated “Fishtail” from her 2023 album, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. A few songs later, Tommy Genesis emerged to perform the live debut of “Peppers,” the Ocean Blvd track she contributed to.

Additional guest appearances came later in the set when Benson Boone came out to join Del Rey in a performance of his song “Beautiful Things” and Nessa Barrett was brought onstage for her song “american jesus.”
Fresh off an appearance at the ACM Awards in Texas, Jelly Roll headed over to Alabama to drop in on Lana Del Rey’s headlining Hangout set. Nodding to their locale, the pair of vocalists traded verses while covering “Sweet Home Alabama.”
