Jeff Tweedy Shines Light On ‘Out In The Dark’ For ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
Watch the Wilco frontman and his solo band deliver a performance of the Twilight Override track for Thursday’s episode of the late night show.

Jeff Tweedy and his solo band were back on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday for a performance of “Out In The Dark.” The track appears on the Wilco frontman’s 2025 solo album, Twilight Override.
Tweedy’s current backing band features his sons, drummer Spencer Tweedy and keyboardist Sammy Tweedy, along with guitarist Liam Kazar bassist Sima Cunningham and guitarist Macie Stewart. The Chicago-based singer-songwriter and his ensemble previously played Twilight Override standout “Lou Reed Was My Babysitter” on Kimmel in March.
The episode was guest hosted by Ike Barinholtz while Jimmy Kimmel takes his summer vacation. Wilco is currently on tour, with the performance airing in between a Wednesday gig in Wheeling, West Virginia and a show this evening in Lexington, Kentucky.
Tweedy will put the focus back on Twilight Override this fall, when he embarks on a solo tour. Unlike past tours supporting the album, Tweedy will hit the road sans band from October 20 through November 7.
