Jeff Austin Band Tour Dates & Album News

Earlier this week Yonder Mountain String Band announced the departure of mandolinist Jeff Austin after an extremely successful 15-year run. Austin will now focus on his solo career and his Jeff Austin Band project, which features Danny Barnes (banjo), Ross Martin (guitar) and Eric Thorin (bass).

According to Grateful Music, Jeff is taking his band into the studio soon to record their debut album. The new LP is expected to be released in 2015. Austin will also play a number of shows with his eponymous band over the next few months.
