Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit Perform On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit were the musical guests on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The appearance featured a performance of a song off the group’s recently issued album The Nashville Sound.

Frontman Jason Isbell played a Dobrato resophonic guitar while supported by his wife Amanda Shires on fiddle, bassist Jimbo Hart, guitarist Sadler Vaden, keyboardist Derry deBorja and drummer Chad Gamble. The band performed a rendition of the heartfelt single “If We Were Vampires.” The song is one of 10 new originals Isbell wrote for the Dave Cobb-produced The Nashville Sound.
