Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit Announce 2018 Winter Tour & Ryman Webcast

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit have announced a 2018 Winter Tour. The singer-songwriter and his band will perform in several cities in the United States next January and February.

The upcoming shows are in support of Isbell & The 400 Unit’s recently issued album The Nashville Sound. Joining Isbell on guitar will be his band mate Sadler Vaden along with keyboardist Derry deBorja, bassist Jimbo Hart and drummer Chad Gamble. Isbell’s wife, fiddler Amanda Shires, also performs with The 400 Unit. Following a previously revealed run of shows with support from James McMurtry at the start of 2018, the band (including support from McCurty throughout the tour) will appear in their home state of Alabama for a three-night stand at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham starting on January 18.

A night in Arkansas comes next before a move north for Midwestern shows in Iowa, Wisconsin and Indiana. Isbell & The 400 Unit will close out January with concerts in Pennsylvania and New York. February finds the group making stops in Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey and Maryland. The tour also includes nights in Atlanta, Georgia that come before two nights in Durham, North Carolina.

The band concludes with a run that starts with returns to New York and Pennsylvania as well as shows in Virginia and a current final stop on February 17 in Charleston, West Virginia.
