Jason Isbell Goes Acoustic For New Solo Album ‘Foxes In The Snow’

Jason Isbell announced details of Foxes In The Snow, his first-ever solo acoustic. Isbell previewed the record, which arrives on March 7 via Southeastern Records by sharing its lead single and opening track, “Bury Me.”
The acclaimed singer-songwriter recorded the 11-song collection over a five-day period last October at New York City’s famed Electric Lady Studios. Isbell utilized an all-mahogany 1940 Martin O-17 guitar for the sessions that yielded Foxes In The Snow.

Jason Isbell will launch an extensive solo tour on February 2 in Berlin, Germany. The Alabama native brings the trek to the U.S. between February 15 and March 29. Isbell will then hit the road with The 400 Unit starting on April 3 in Austin.
Foxes In The Snow marks Isbell’s first solo album since 2015’s Something More Than Free. Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit latest LP, Weathervanes, arrived in 2023.
