In what seemed like a ’90s flashback, Jane’s Addiction shared the stage with Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin at Lollapalooza on Saturday. Morello and Chamberlin each sat-in at different points during a Jane’s set at the Chicago festival that saw the band perform each and every track from their classic 1990 album Ritual De Lo Habitual.
Following the full performance of the LP Jane’s Addiction brought out longtime fan Tom Morello to jam on “Mountain Song.” Morello dueled with Dave Navarro over the course of “Mountain Song.” The 13-song performance came to a close with a rendition of “Jane Says.” Hometown hero Jimmy Chamberlin hopped behind the kit, while Jane’s drummer Stephen Perkins played steel drums.
