J. Roddy Walston & The Business Share ‘The Wanting’ Video & Announce Tour Dates

ATO Records recently issued the J Roddy Walston and the Business studio album Destroyers Of The Soft Life. The group has shared an official video for the track “The Wanting” and confirmed a number of tour dates in support of the LP.

Multi-instrumentalist bandleader J. Roddy Walston, guitarist Billy Gordon, bassist Logan Davis and drummer Steve Colmus began recording Destroyers Of The Soft Life two years ago. The band spent seven months renovating a WWII-era bomb shelter in a converted lumber yard in their hometown of Richmond, Virginia. The result was their own recording studio where they worked with producer Phil Ek on the 10-song effort.

The group has a number of shows planned in support of the record, including a trio of hometown gigs this weekend at The Broadberry in Richmond. Additionally they’ll appear in Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Brooklyn and Washington D.C. early next year.
