Holly Bowling To Perform With Phil Lesh & Shares ‘Row Jimmy’ Video

This afternoon Terrapin Crossroads will host a special happy hour performance on the venue’s outdoor Backyard stage by Holly Bowling. Among those Joining the pianist will be Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh.
Bowling and Lesh will perform along with Ross James and Eric DiBerardino during the free two set show. The action gets underway at Terrapin Crossroads this afternoon starting at 4:20 p.m. Lesh will also appear with Midnight North at Slim’s in San Francisco along with Jay Lane and Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz later tonight.
Inspired in part by her contribution to JamBase’s Grateful Dead 50th Anniversary covers project Songs Of Their Own, Bowling will release an album of Dead songs interpreted for solo piano entitled Better Left Unsung on December 9. Here’s Holly breaking down the arrangement of “Row Jimmy” that appears on her upcoming new LP:
