Holly Bowling announced the first show of her “Head Set” series of concerts will take place on March 20 at the Peace Dome at The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano, California. The pianist will offer the fans to hear the intracies of her music, without any distractions, using “Silent Disco” style headphones.

“I’ve been wanting to do a show like this for a LONG time! Everyone gets a set of headphones and hears the piano exactly the way it sounds to me, like we all have our heads stuck inside the piano together totally immersed in the sound,” Bowling wrote.

“I’m hoping this will be the first of more to come and this is the perfect way to kick it off, inside a dome on a farm in Southern California. Totally different than a regular show and it’s gonna be incredible,” Bowling added.

Holly Bowling will perform two solo piano sets on a Yamaha C3. The sound will be amplified only to “Head Set” headsets, which will be available for rent to all attendees.

Fans are encouraged to bring blankets, seat cushions and any other comforts for the sonic excursion. Bowling’s concert at the Dome comes between her appearances at the East Coast and West Coast installments of Grahame Lesh's Unbroken Chain tributes to his dad and late Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh.

Holly Bowling has two additional gigs in California on the books in the next two months. Her “Bay Area Takeover” includes a show at The Guild Theatre in the South Bay on March 11 and another at Sweetwater Music Hall in the North Bay on April 28.

Tickets to Holly Bowling’s “Head Set” concert in San Juan Capistrano are on sale now via the venue’s website. Headset rentals are $15 at the show or can be purchased in advance as part of a discounted bundle with the ticket.
