Remi Wolf Returns With New Single ‘Twiggy’

Remi Wolf shared her first new music in two years. The single “Twiggy” follows the singer-songwriter’s 2024 album Big Ideas.

“Twiggy” received its live premiere when Remi Wolf performed the song during a surprise guest appearance with Paramore‘s Hayley Williams at the Newport Folk Festival last weekend. The song emerged from sessions Wolf held with a cadre of collaborators at Big Bear in California where Remi “found the freedom to embrace what she jokingly describes as her ’emo as fuck’ side,” as per press materials.

“I felt this permission to be honest and be my raw self,” she said of the sessions. “Because of that, the writing process didn’t change, but the writing changed.”

“I wrote Twiggy about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability,” Remi added on her new single. “And how I like that. Or maybe it’s just about the messiness of addiction? Idk, you decide :)”
