The Highwomen Perform Live For SiriusXM & ‘Howard Stern Show’

The Highwomen performed a live session for SiriusXM and appeared on the Howard Stern Show.The supergroup featuring Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Natalie Hemby and Amanda Shires played a song from their upcoming self-titled debut album and covered Fleetwood Mac.
The live session at SiriusXM included a performance of the single “Redesigning Women,” one of 12 songs on the forthcoming Dave Cobb-produced record coming out September 6. The Stern Show appearance saw the group covering Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain,” which they recorded for the feature film, The Kitchen.
The foursome was backed by Carlile’s band mates bassist Phil Hanseroth, guitarist Tim Hanseroth and drummer Chris Powell, as well as guitarist (and Shires’ husband) Jason Isbell, multi-instrumentalist Charley Crockett and keyboardist Peter Levin on “Redesigning Women,” while just the Hanseroths and Isbell played the acoustic Fleetwood Mac cover.
