Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival Returns To Golden Gate Park

The beginning of fall means many things to many people, but for Bay Area music fans it marks the return of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, a three-day free music festival held in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. This year’s fifteen annual HSB featured over 100 acts spread across seven stages that were witnessed by by an estimated 750,000.
Plenty of JamBase favorites performed at HSB ’15 including Leftover Salmon, ALO, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Brothers Comatose, Hot Tuna, Steep Canyon Rangers and The New Mastersounds. Sit-ins included Andy Thorn with ALO, Conor Oberst with The Felice Brothers, Vince Gill with Blind Boys Of Alabama and The Dickinson Brothers with Jim Lauderdale.
