Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Adds Mavis Staples, Cat Power, Steve Earle & More To 2024 Lineup

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival announced its third wave of artists including Mavis Staples, Cat Power Sings Dylan '66, Steve Earle and more. The free festival takes place at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park October 4 – 6.
Also among the third round of HSB 2024 artists are Cunningham Bird, Combo Tezeta, Wonder Women of Country, Matt the Electrician, John Cooper Clarke, Carlene Carter, Jessica Pratt and Wreckless Strangers.

“I love Hardly Strictly—it’s one of our favorite places to play in the world. I can’t wait to get back there this fall,” Mavis Staples said of HSB.
Staples and the other third wave performers join previously announced artists on the lineup among them Emmylou Harris, The Wood Brothers, Greensky Bluegrass, Fruition, Glen Hansard and more. The latter three acts and more will participate in the “Out Of The Park” evening shows around the Bay Area benefitting Sweet Relief Bay Area Musicians Fund.
