Each May, Roger Sherman Park in Greenwich, Connecticut hosts a concert for residents of the town and it seems like organizers bring in bigger acts every passing year. While Eric Clapton had already been announced as the headliner of the 2018 Greenwich Town Party, the rest of the main stage acts for the May 26th event have been revealed including an old friend of Slowhand’s.
The Tedeschi Trucks Band featuring Derek Trucks, who toured as part of Clapton’s band in 2006 and 2007, are aboard for the GTP. Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Trout Steak Revival and Charlie Scopoletti & The Truth round out the main stage lineup.
Greenwich Town Party tickets may only be purchased by residents of Greenwich or employees of businesses located in the town. Tickets go up for grabs to residents on April 5. Full details are available via the event’s website.
