An audience recording of Greensky’s guest-filled main stage sets from Saturday night has surfaced and can be streamed below.

On Saturday, the inaugural Camp Greensky Music Festival came to a close at the Hoxeyville Festival Grounds in Wellston, Michigan. Host band Greensky Bluegrass shared the stage with a number of guests during their headlining sets last night and then treated festivalgoers to a surprise “Campfire Set” around 1 a.m.

Greensky’s first set on Saturday began with If Sorrows Swim gem “Leap Year.” Then, guitarist Dave Bruzza led his mates on the debut of a new song titled “Like Reflections On A Pond.” Phish bassist Mike Gordon emerged following “Past My Prime” and “Kerosene” for a two-song collaboration. Gordon and his quintet performed on the main stage earlier in the day. Mike fronted Greensky on “Endless Highway,” a tune written by Roger Rasnake that Alison Krauss recorded for 1990’s I’ve Got That old Feeling. While Mike Gordon played acoustic guitar for the first song, he switched to electric bass for the set-closing “Don’t Lie.” Last night’s “Don’t Lie” spanned nearly 15 minutes and featured lots of interplay between Gordon and the members of GSBG.

Saturday’s second Greensky Bluegrass set saw the group work a tease of Phish’s “Harpua” within the “Windshield” opener. The band went on to tease two more Phish songs, “Contact” and “Simple,” during the “Take Cover” that followed. Marco Benevento was Greensky’s second guest of the night as he added keyboards to “I’d Probably Kill You” and “Worried About The Weather.” The frame and collaborations concluded with Cris Jacobs and Dusty Ray Simmons sitting-in on “Bone Digger” and “No idea.” GSBG encored with a version of “Living Over” that included a reprise of Foreigner’s “Feels Like The First Time,” the cover the band opened their first set of the festival with back on Thursday.

Later in the night, the quintet went without microphones for an acoustic “Campfire Set.” Greensky opened the surprise performance with Flatt and Scruggs’ “Down The Road” and “Little Maggie” by The Stanley Brothers. Paul Hoffman then led the group on a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Atlantic City” ahead of the traditional “Sitting On Top Of The World,” The Band’s “The Shape I’m In” and “Small Axe” by Bob Marley. Next up was “Courage For The Road,” a tune sung by Hoffman that Greensky debuted on Friday night. The set and festival came to a close with “Who Is Frederico?”
