Greensky Bluegrass brought out Jennifer Hartswick to collaborate at the second annual All Good Now festival on Saturday. The Trey Anastasio Band trumpeter/vocalist joined her old friends for “What You Need” during the first day of the event held at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.
Jennifer Hartswick served as Artist At Large at All Good Now 2026. The Vermont native made the most of her time at the two-day festival as her guest appearances in addition to GSBG included sit ins with Dark Star Orchestra, Leftover Salmon and Andy Frasco & The U.N.
Greensky Bluegrass took The Pavilion Stage just before headliners Widespread Panic on Saturday night. The quintet opened with “Fixin’ To Ruin” and then rolled through fellow fan favorites “Living Over,” “Past My Prime,” “Room Without A Roof” and “Burn Them.” Next up was the band’s first cover of “How Mountain Girls Can Love” by Stanley Brothers since November.
Hartswick emerged soon after to add her trumpet to “What You Need.” Greensky Bluegrass previously recruited JHa and TAB bandmate Natalie Cressman to record a version of the song for their 2025 25th anniversary album XXV. Hartswick had also performed live with GSBG several times in the past.
Greensky offered “Old Barns” following their team up with Hartswick. The five-piece then ended their set with a “Leap Year” that encompassed a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady.”
