Greensky Bluegrass Taps Fruition To Open 2024 New Year’s Eve Run In Denver

The two groups sharing a deep history together will perform at the Mission Ballroom on December 30 and 31.

Greensky Bluegrass recruited Fruition to join the bill for their upcoming New Year’s Eve run at Mission Ballroom. The two bands will each take the stage at the Denver venue on December 30 and 31.

Fruition and GSBG have a long history, including multiple tours and various collaborations between members. This past June, Fruition's Kellen Asebroek sat-in with Greensky Bluegrass at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City. Asebroek led the group through the GSBG debut of Fruition original “The Meaning.”

“[W]e were planning to stay home and take it easy this year. but then we couldn’t resist the opportunity to be with our dear fam in an incredible room in the most music-lovin’est city/state,” wrote Fruition’s Mimi Naja on Instagram.

Tickets for both shows are on sale now.

Greensky Bluegrass kicks off their fall tour on Sunday, October 27 with an appearance at the Suwannee Hulaween festival in Like Oak, Florida. The tour continues through a performance in Austin on November 16.

Fruition launches their fall tour tonight (Thursday, October 17) at Wonder Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. The quintet will be on the road until November 23.
