TRAVEL FOOTAGE WANTED FOR NEW VIDEO FOR “PASSENGER SONG”

Great Lake Swimmers
As the Great Lake Swimmers kick of their North American fall tour this week, they are offering a very special treat to their fans. Great Lake Swimmers: Live From the Church of the Redeemer EP is a completely free download (just go HERE to download), offering a snapshot of GLS at the height of their awe-inspiring powers.

The EP was captured in the amazing acoustics of the Church of the Redeemer in Toronto during their sold out homecoming show. The key players who helped shape their third album Ongiara join Tony Dekker, Eric Arnesen and Colin Hubert on stage for this distinctive performance. Bob Egan, best known for his work with Blue Rodeo provides flowing pedal steel and guitar work. Renowned composer, arranger and violinist and 2006 winner of the Polaris Prizewinner Owen Pallet bestows his gifted violin work. Basia Bulat, a rising star in the Canadian independent music scene, performs backing vocals throughout the concert.

Lastly, GLS are asking for your favorite travel footage of beautiful places and interesting experiences to be used in a new music video for “Passenger Song.” They will be taking submissions until September 23. For full details please visit www.greatlakeswimmers.com.
