Grateful Dead 50 Chicago Tickets Re-Release Coming

Nearly every sold out concert will see tickets re-released to the public at one point or another after the initial on-sale. There are many reasons for such re-releases such as tickets that were held for the band or promoters that weren’t needed or more likely tickets that were held back until the stage plot and production was fully configured. Deadheads who were shut out of tickets for Fare Thee Well – Celebrating 50 Years Of Grateful Dead at Soldier Field in Chicago July 3 -5 have been waiting for a re-release and one is finally coming in just a few short days.

According to Dead50.com, “A limited amount of single-day tickets to all three #Dead50 shows at Soldier Field in Chicago will be released on Friday, June 5 at 12 p.m. ET. There will be a two ticket limit per show, and sales will occur on-line only.”

Friday’s re-release will take place via Ticketmaster. Come Friday at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT/10 a.m. MT and 9 a.m. PT you can purchase tickets to the Friday, July 3 show here: http://bit.ly/gd50july3. You can purchase tickets to the Saturday, July 4 show here: http://bit.ly/gd50july4. And you can purchase tickets to the Sunday, July 5 show here: http://bit.ly/gd50july5.

Fare Thee Well -Celebrating 50 Years Of Grateful Dead features the Grateful Dead’s “core four” of Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir joined by Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio and keyboardists Jeff Chimenti and Bruce Hornsby for shows in Santa Clara (June 27 -28) and Chicago (July 3 -5).
