By Scott Bernstein Nov 3, 2015 • 8:45 am PST
Vermont native Grace Potter brought her World Tour in support of Midnight to the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on October 30 and Halloween. Potter and her band worked a number of covers into the setlist on the 31st including “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses.
Grace came up with her own lyrics for the ’80s classic as her backing band nailed the music of “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Watch fan-shot footage of the cover thanks to thefinestmusic:
Potter also worked some of “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” into her own “Stars,” covered “I Love Rock & Roll” and teamed with Charles Bradley for a rendition of Otis Redding’s “Pain In My Heart.” Grace Potter is currently in the Middle East with Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Vivino, where they are performing with and for U.S. troops.
