Gov’t Mule followed the start of their European Tour on Monday night by confirming their 2019 appearance at Red Rocks. The quartet will play the famed Morrison, Colorado venue on August 18 with support from Ryan Bingham.
Last night’s Mule concert at Saint Luke’s in Glasgow, Scotland began with “Railroad Boy.” From there, the band focused on live staples throughout the first set including “Mule,” “Rocking Horse,” “Banks Of The Deep End” and a “Game Face” that featured “Mountain Jam” within. Gov’t Mule concluded the frame with “Revolution Come, Revolution Go,” the title track from their most recent studio album.

The four-piece went on to present a second set filled with originals. Revolution Come…Revolution Go track “Thorns Of Life” served as the opener and was followed by a run of “Unring The Bell,” “Endless Parade,” “Sco-Mule” and “Fallen Down.” Monday’s second set came to a close with “Thorazine Shuffle.” For the encore, Gov’t Mule dusted off their take on Allen Toussaint’s “Play Something Sweet (Brickyard Blues)” for the first time since August 8, 2008 and then tacked on the beloved “Soulshine” as the evening’s finale.
