Gov’t Mule Celebrates Shout! Release Day With Radio Appearances

Today, Gov’t Mule’s Shout!, an album we’ve had our eyes on, has finally been released. The two-disc set features eleven brand new songs interpreted by Warren Haynes and his band mates on the first disc, while the second disc contains versions of the songs as performed by special guest vocalists such as Jim James, Elvis Costello and Steve Winwood backed by Mule.

Mule celebrated today’s release date by making a pair of radio appearances in support of Shout!. The entire quartet visited Don Imus’s show and performed three songs off the album. Check ’em out:
