By Scott Bernstein Oct 10, 2016 • 9:11 am PDT

A long-standing tradition will continue this December, when Warren Haynes and Gov’t Mule play a New Year’s show at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. On December 31, 2002 Mule first played a New Year’s show at the Beacon and they have returned to the venue for each of every New Year’s Eve show since with the exception of 2008, a year the historic theater was being renovated.
In addition to a December 31st show at the Beacon, Gov’t Mule will also play the historic venue on December 30. Each year Gov’t Mule usually follows a theme for their New Year’s Eve performance. This year’s theme has yet to be revealed.
VIP pre-sales will be available starting this Wednesday, October 12 at 12 p.m. ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning the following Wednesday, October 19.
