Gorillaz Share ‘The Book Of 2D’

Animated rock band Gorillaz keep hinting at a new album with the release of yet another multimedia story. Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett have added The Book Of 2D to their series of multimedia stories that includes The Book Of Noodle, The Book Of Russel and The Book Of Murdoc.

The tale of keyboardist and vocalist 2D begins with his being swallowed alive by a great white whale known as Massive Dick (no relation to Moby) after the pirate attack on Plastic Beach. 2D is washed ashore inside the whale after it dies. Staying alive by eating the dead beast, 2D eventually discovers he’s actually on the island of Guadalupe off the Mexican coast and attends a beach rave. A year later he decides to return to West London where he meets his up with his Gorillaz band mates.
