Gorillaz Share ‘The Book Of Murdoc’

Gorillaz continue to tease a new album with the release of another multimedia story. The virtual band founded by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett has shared The Book Of Murdoc to go along with previously released tales The Book Of Noodle and The Book Of Russel.

Murdoc’s saga begins with the bassist escaping Plastic Beach and landing on a rusty brown submarine in the South Pacific. Sustaining solely on rum, Murdoc and Cyborg Noodle navigate through the Octopuses Garden and encounter the EMI owned Battleship Ringo. After being captured, Murdoc finds himself in a dungeon below Abbey Road Studios, but is freed on the condition he records a new Gorillaz album.
