Geese are coming off a hugely successful 2025 and are poised to reach even bigger heights in 2026. The Brooklyn rockers will cross off an accolade from their bucket list on January 24 when they make their Saturday Night Live debut.

Multi-hyphenate Teyana Taylor has been tapped to host the year’s second installment of the NBC late-night sketch comedy show. NBC also announced host Finn Wolfhard and musical guest will kick off 2026 for SNL on January 17, while Alexander Skarsgard and Cardi B will appear on the January 31 episode of Saturday Night Live.

Saturday Night Live foreshadowed Geese’s appearance during the final episode of 2025, when cast member James Austin Johnson spoofed frontman Cameron Winter in the “Random Duet Christmas Spectacular” sketch. Björk, Post Malone, Bob Dylan, Celine Dion and Benson Boone were among other musicians parodied within the bit.

The hosts and musical guests for the first three Saturday Night Live episodes were confirmed hours after organizers of Wilco's Sky Blue Sky festival revealed Cameron Winter will no longer perform at the destination event in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. Scheduling conflicts were cited as the reason for Winter dropping off the lineup. Golden Smog will perform in the time slot vacated by the Geese frontman.
