Geese Play All-Covers Setlist At Private Blue Note Show

Geese played a private concert last night at New York City’s Blue Note jazz club. The Brooklyn-based band’s setlist was filled with covers of songs by The Stooges, The Velvet Underground, Suicide, Pink Floyd and Leonard Cohen.

Geese began with a series of The Stooges classics, including “I Wanna Be Your Dog” and “T.V. Eye.” The band worked in takes of Suicide’s “Ghost Rider” and The Velvet Underground’s “I’m Waiting for the Man,” and then returned to more Stooges material.

Frontman Cameron Winter also led his bandmates through Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” and Leonard Cohen’s “Suzanne.”

The private event was hosted by Chase Sapphire Reserve and Parcelle Wine. Videos from the special concert follow:
