Gary Clark Jr. Teams With Gustavo Santaolalla & Paul Williams For ‘Valley Of Last Resort’ Single

Gary Clark Jr.’s collaboration with Gustavo Santaolalla and Paul Williams, “Valley Of Last Resort,” is available to stream. The song features on the soundtrack to the Hunter S. Thompson documentary, Freak Power: The Ballot Or The Bomb, out now on Amazon and Apple TV.

“Valley of Last Resort” sees Clark teaming up with two-time Oscar and multiple Grammy-winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel). Clark also collaborated with renowned songwriter Paul Williams to pen the tune, which sees Clark on guitar and vocals alongside Santaolalla on vocals as well as his signature ronroco, a post-colonial traditional instrument of the Andean region in South America.
