The Jerry Garcia Foundation has teamed with The Garcia Project to raise funds for Wilmington, Vermont’s Historic Memorial Hall. The venue will host a special The Garcia Project performance on September 10 during which the band will re-create a complete Jerry Garcia Band show from either the 1970s, 1980s or 1990s.

In addition to the concert, The Jerry Garcia Foundation and the Historic Memorial Hall will be auctioning off a pair of limited-edition prints of the late Grateful Dead guitarist’s artwork. The prints of Garcia’s paintings – California Mission (view here) and Wisteria (view here) – come framed and with a certificate of authenticity signed by Manasha Garcia and will be available to bid on beginning tomorrow, September 8 through September 22. Both prints will be on display at the concert at Historic Memorial Hall this weekend and proceeds from the auctions will go toward maintaining the venue.
