FXX To Air The Simpsons Music Mini-Marathon Tonight

Just in case you didn’t get your fill of The Simpsons, during cable network FXX’s recent 12-day marathon, FXX will air a eight-episode, music-themed mini-marathon tonight starting at 8 p.m. ET. Tonight’s marathon ties in to The Simpsons Take The Bowl series of concerts at the iconic Hollywood Bowl that begins tomorrow night and runs through Sunday, according to Variety.

Each of the eight episodes that will air tonight feature a song that will be performed at the concerts including “Monorail Song,” “Baby On Board” and “See My Vest.” The Simpsons voice actors Hank Azaria, Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith will be among those taking part in The Simpsons Take The Bowl.

In other Simpsons news, a new batch of collectible figures featuring Simpsons-ized versions of musicians who appeared on the show have been announced as per Stereogum. This fourth wave of “25 Of The Greatest Guest Stars” toys includes Elvis Costello, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Aerosmith and Tom Jones.

Here’s the rundown of the episodes that will air on FXX tonight:

8 p.m. – “Marge vs. The Monorail” (Season 4) – Song highlighted at Bowl event: “Monorail Song.”

8:30 p.m. – “Homer’s Barbershop Quartet” (Season 5) – Song: “Baby on Board.”

9 p.m. – “Homer the Great” (Season 6) – Song: “We Do – The Stonecutters Song.”

9:30 p.m. – “Two Dozen and One Greyhounds” (Season 6) – Song: “See My Vest.”

10 p.m. – “Who Shot Mr. Burns? Part 2” (Season 7) – Song: “Señor Burns.”

10:30 p.m. – “A Fish Called Selma” (Season 7) – Songs: “Dr. Zaius” and “Chimpan A to Chimpan Z.”

11 p.m. – “Bart After Dark” (Season 8) – Song: “We Put the Spring in Springfield.”

11:30 p.m. – “Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious” (Season 8) – Song: “Minimum Wage Nanny.”
