Full Show Video: Little Feat Welcomes Ron Holloway & Midnight Ramble Horns In Washington D.C.

By Scott Bernstein May 23, 2017 1:45 pm PDT

This past Sunday night acclaimed rock band Little Feat began a short tour with their first U.S. show of 2017. Little Feat was joined by saxophonist Ron Holloway as well as The Midnight Ramble Horns at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. High-quality video of the entire show featuring a soundboard soundtrack has surfaced and can be viewed below.

The band opened with the title track from their 1979 studio album Down On The Farm and then covered the blues standard “Candy Man Blues” ahead of a rollicking “Easy To Slip.” Little Feat served up many fan-favorites over the course of the two-hour performance including “Fat Man In The Bathtub,” “Oh Atlanta,” “Spanish Moon” and “Skin It Back.” The band also worked “Don’t Bogart That Joint” into “Willin'” and encored with “Dixie Chicken.” Holloway and the horn section of saxophonist Jay Collins, multi-instrumentalist Erik Lawrence and trumpeter Steven Bernstein emerged early in the set and stuck around for its duration.
