Full Set Audio: Karl Denson Joins Melvin Seals & JGB At Wanee Festival

One of the most anticipated sets of this year’s Wanee Festival at The Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida was a collaborative set between and multi-instrumentalist Karl Denson. The set took place on the final day of Wanee ’16, this past Saturday and audio of the performance has surfaced.

Melvin Seals and JGB along with Denson roll through a number of classics from the Jerry Garcia Band repertoire starting with The Rolling Stones’ “Let’s Spend The Night Together” and ending with the Grateful Dead’s “Deal.” Denson mixes into the action perfectly as he starts on saxophone and also contributes flute at points of the set. Highlights include “My Sisters & Brothers,” “Finder’s Keepers” and “The Harder They Come.”
