Fruition unveiled new music in the form of “Snapdragon.” The Mimi Naja and Jay Cobb Anderson co-write is on the flip side of the band’s “Alone Together” 45, the first in series of planned 45’s set to be released on 7″ vinyl and via digital services.
The 7″ vinyl featuring “Alone Together” and “Snapdragon” will be available for purchase at Fruition’s upcoming Red Rocks concert on September 5 with The Wood Brothers. While “Alone Together” was debuted live late last year in Boulder, “Snapdragon” is a brand new song. The band has three more 45’s planned with each containing a pair of tracks. “The beauty of this is that we can really release ANYTHING we want, without worrying about it fitting on an album,” Kellen Asebroek said when the series was announced. “Some of them will be songs that we’ve played for years live and never recorded, some will be things your ears have never heard.”
