Freekbass & The Bump Assembly featuring Sammi Garett (formerly of Turkuaz) unveiled dates for the first spring leg of their Funk The World Tour 2022 with the promise of more to come. The run, which currently spans March 25 – April 3, marks the return to the road for the acclaimed bassist and his all-star ensemble.
“Playing live is in my DNA, and makes me feel like I am a complete person. The last couple of years have been really tough,” Freekbass told JamBase. “Getting back on the road, and playing music onstage with my best friends is something I am counting the days for. We are playing some of my favorite venues and cites, on this first run of shows, and we have a ‘part 2’ leg which we will announce soon.” Freekbass has put out plenty of new music while off the road including the new vinyl EP, Krameria.
