Free Download: Steve Kimock & Friends Rex Foundation Benefit

On December 5, Steve Kimock rounded up his musical friends to headline a Rex Foundation benefit at The Fillmore in San Francisco. Kimock has shared an official recording of his set as a free holiday gift.

The guitarist served as musical director for the performance which was dubbed “Reflections – A Tribute To Jerry Garcia.” Kimock was joined by a band of drummer Jay Lane, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and bassist Bobby Vega. Guitarist David Bromberg took a turn leading the group as did vocalist Nicki Bluhm. Steve welcomed other guests throughout the evening including a horn section of Steve Berlin and John Firmin as well as vocalist Leslie Mendelson, Los Lobos guitarist David Hidalgo and MC Radioactive.
