Foo Fighters have announced the cancellation of the remaining dates on their current European Tour in response to the terrorist attacks in Paris. The band will no longer play four concerts scheduled in Italy, France and Spain.

Foo Fighters issued the following statement announcing the end of the tour:

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can’t continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one.

The affected concerts include planned stops tonight, November 14 at Palaolimpico Torino in Tourin, Italy; November 16 at Accor Hotels Arena in Paris; November 17 at Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, France and November 19 at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain. More information regarding rescheduling and ticket refunds is expected soon.

U2 was also forced to cancel their planned concerts for Accor Hotels Arena in Paris scheduled for tonight and tomorrow in response to the tragic events in Paris.
