Dave Matthews Announces 1st Japan Tour With Solo Acoustic Shows In 2027

Dave Matthews will make his Japanese live debut in January 2027 with four solo acoustic concerts. The Dave Matthews Band frontman’s first-ever performances in the country are billed as An Acoustic Evening With Dave Matthews.

The tour begins at Tokyo’s Sumida Triphony Hall on January 6. Matthews then heads to Osaka for a January 8 performance at Sankei Hall Breeze. Kyoto Concert Hall’s Ensemble Hall Murata hosts the singer-songwriter on January 10. The brief excursion concludes at Nagoya’s Diamond Hall on January 11.

Applications for an official ticket presale lottery are open to Japanese fans through Monday, October 12 at 11:59 p.m. Japan Standard Time via eplus. The lottery covers SS and S reserved seats, with a limit of two tickets per person.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. Japan Standard Time, which is Friday, October 16 at 9 p.m. ET. Visit SMASH’s website for ticketing information.
