Fleet Foxes Cover Part Of Phish Song In Maine

Last night Fleet Foxes held a concert at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. The band offered a light-hearted partial cover of a Phish song, returning the favor following the latter’s recent performance of “White Winter Hymnal” at Madison Square Garden.

As reported, Phish opened their Wednesday night Baker’s Dozen concert at MSG by treating the New York City audience to an a cappella cover of “White Winter Hymnal.” On Thursday, frontman Robin Pecknold led Fleet Foxes through a few lines of Phish’s “Bouncing Around The Room.” Pecknold then jokingly told the audience the next song they were about to play was a Phish song, before launching into “White Winter Hymnal.”
