FINNEAS Performs ‘Time Of The Season’ With The Zombies’ Colin Blunstone In L.A.

FINNEAS brought out The Zombies co-founder Colin Blunstone for one of the band’s best-known songs last night during his first of two For Cryin’ Out Loud!: The Tour shows in Los Angeles. Blunstone and FINNEAS dueted on the 1968 hit “Time Of The Season” at the Hollywood Palladium.

The collaboration took place towards the middle of FINNEAS’ 21-song hometown concert. The musician/producer and brother of Billie Eilish has covered “Time Of The Season” several times since the start of the year.

“This is a song I’ve loved over the past year specifically,” FINNEAS said while premiering his take on “Time Of The Season” for Triple J’s Like A Version. “I’ve heard it for years but this [past] year is the year I’ve listened to it the most.

“If you’re a creator, you hope that you create something that feels prescient and somehow also feels timeless.”

Colin Blunstone handled lead vocals on the original “Time Of The Season,” a song written by bandmate Rod Argent. “Thank you for being here Colin!” FINNEAS exclaimed as he welcomed Blunstone to the stage.

FINNEAS is touring in support of his sophomore solo album, For Cryin’ Out Loud!, which came out last October. The North American leg ends tonight (Thursday, March 6) back at the Hollywood Palladium.
