Spotify and Electric Lady Studios released Father John Misty‘s new Live At Electric Lady EP. The record features songs from FJM’s 2022 album, Chloë And The Next 20th Century, as well as a Stevie Wonder cover.
Father Jonh Misty’s Live At Electric Lady EP is the latest in the renowned New York City recording facility’s live release series in partnership with Spotify. Participating artists are invited to cut their own songs as well as a cover from one of the legendary artists who have a history with the studio including Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Clash, Stevie Wonder and more.

FJM (Josh Tillman) chose to cover a song from of latter’s, offering a rendition of Stevie’s “I Believe (When I Fall In Love It Will Be Forever).” Misty’s six-track Live At Electic Lady EP also boasts takes on Chloë And The Next 20th Century tracks “We Could Be Strangers,” “Goodbye Mr. Blue,” “Buddy’s Rendevous” and more.
