This year’s Farm Aid benefit concert will take place at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh, NC on September 13. Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews, Neil Young and John Mellencamp will each perform at the benefit. Jack White, Tim Reynolds (who will perform with Matthews), Jamey Johnson, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Delta Rae, Lukas Nelson, Carlene Carter, Pegi Young and Insects vs Robots are also set to perform at the event.

The first Farm Aid benefit concert was held in 1985 and there has been a total of 26 Farm Aids over the years. Last year’s concert was held at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, NY. The Farm Aid organization has raised over $45 million to help family farmers keep their land.

“In North Carolina and across the Southeast, family farmers have struggled to stay on the land, but they have also pioneered new roads to economic sustainability,” Farm Aid president Willie Nelson said in a statement announcing this year’s event. “This region knows the value of its farmers and offers increasing opportunities for new farmers to build a strong regional food system. On the Farm Aid stage Saturday, September 13, we’ll celebrate family farmers and the healthy communities they’re growing for all of us.”

Tickets for Farm Aid 2014 go on sale August 1 at 10 a.m. ET.
