Eric Krasno Covers Bob Dylan’s ‘The Man In Me’ With Otis McDonald For SongAid
Guitarist Eric Krasno teamed with multi-instrumentalist Otis McDonald to record a cover of Bob Dylan’s “The Man In Me.” The track is part of the SongAid series and proceeds from its sale will go to the NAACP.
Previous and upcoming SongAid participants include Wilco, Galactic, Tom Morello, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Carlos Santana, Mike Marshall and Darol Anger. Proceeds generated by streaming SongAid tracks are donated to the organization selected by the artist.
“The song ‘The Man in Me’ has been in my head and in my ethos for the past year,” Krasno stated. “When I got married and quickly found out I was going to be a dad I knew I had to record it. Around that time I was introduced to Otis McDonald and we clicked instantly. I suggested we do the Dylan cover and we were off to the races. I hope this is the first of many tracks we make together.”
