Eddie Vedder To Perform At Chicago Pete Townshend’s Classic Quadrophenia Concert

A Chicago area stop has been added to Pete Townshend’s upcoming Classic Quadrophenia run. Townshend will be backed by an orchestra, choir, Billy Idol and Alfie Boe as at other concerts on the run, but there’s one notable addition.

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder will join Townshend, Idol, Boe, the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra and Chicago Children’s Choir at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosement on September 13. Townshend & Co. will focus on material from The Who’s famed 1973 rock opera Quadrophenia. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Teen Cancer America.
