Eddie Vedder Shares Singles ‘Matter Of Time’ & ‘Say Hi’

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder unveiled a pair of singles, “Matter Of Time” and “Say Hi,” via Monkeywrench/Republic Records following Wednesday’s broadcast of the benefit livestream special, Venture Into Cures. Vedder shared an animated video for “Matter Of Time” and a live video for “Say Hi.”

Both songs were premiered by Eddie during the Venture Into Cures special. Venture Into Cures shined the spotlight on EB Research Partnership, a foundation co-founded by Eddie and his wife, Jill Vedder. The foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) with the special mixing performances, celebrity apperances and stories of those living with EB.

Vinyl featuring “Matter Of Time” backed by “Say Hi” is available for pre-order through Pearl Jam’s website. “Matter Of Time” is a brand new song penned by Vedder in tribute to all those afflicted with EB. Eddie had played “Say Hi” previously but premiered a new version last night. “Say Hi” was written in honor of Eli Meyer, a six-year-old battling Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa.
