DVR Alert | Anthony Kiedis To Perform With The Roots Tonight
By Scott Bernstein Nov 20, 2014 • 2:50 pm PST

U2 was scheduled to be the musical guest for each of this week’s installments of NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. However, the band had to postpone the residency due to Bono’s cycling injuries. On Monday night, Fallon performed a U2 classic backed by The Roots and tonight the show’s team has come up with a Red Hot collaboration to fill in for U2.

Red Hot Chili Peppers front man Anthony Kiedis will perform with Fallon house band The Roots on this evening’s Tonight Show as pointed out by Jambands.com. Kiedis and the Chili Peppers teamed with The Roots for a cover of Funkadelic’s “Standing On The Verge Of Getting It On” back in May.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT.
