Following another reunion earlier this year, At The Drive In has returned with “Governed By Contagions” their first new song since 2000. In addition to releasing the single from their forthcoming new LP, the group has confirmed a number of tour dates in 2017.
The lineup of Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Paul Hinojos, Tony Hajjar and Keeley Davis was forced to cancel several shows originally planned last March due to health concerns regarding Bixler-Zavala’s vocal cords. The newly confirmed dates cover the same cities where the band was supposed to play prior to cancellation, including Washington D.C., New York City, Boston, Detroit and Toronto between March 20 and 29.
The just shared new single “Governed By Contagions” is expected to be included on the band’s forthcoming new album which is being recorded with producers ORL and Rich Costey. The El Paso, Texas-native band’s last full length album of new material was 2000’s Relationship of Command. Stream “Governed By Contagions” here:
