“[The issue of] immigration is filled with anger and closed minds,” explained founder Steve Kuhn of IDEAL (Immigration Designed to Enhance American Lives) about the inspiration behind the festival. “We want to bring people together. We want to open minds and hearts and let people enjoy each other to help make the discussion around immigration a more joyful and productive one.”
While tickets are free, only a limited number are available. Those hoping to attend should head to dream.org to enter a lottery for tickets. Dreamland will also feature art installations and many food options.
